A Jonyéléni statue carved from hardwood with a dry, grey patina, used for ritual purposes. It is executed in a highly modernist style, with perfectly balanced anatomical proportions. It represents a feminine ideal imbued with great allure due to its beauty. It is depicted in a standing position with a stylised, oblong head, the skull of which is marked by a central ridge running from front to back. The face is devoid of features, except for two holes for the nostrils and scarifications. The ears bear pendants made of fabric or plant fibres. The neck connects the head to the shoulders, which are scarified at both the front and the back. Similarly, the arms and torso display these characteristics.
