Hardwood pestle, carved with a bust figure, separated from the shaft and the grip at hip level. The elbows are close to the body and the hands under the chin. The face has protruding eyes and a broad nose. The lower part of the face has a mouth revealing a powerful set of teeth. At the top of the head, the ears are pierced and the spine is marked on the back. The superb dark, shiny patina bears witness to its long use and age. Soclé.
