Terracotta Janus head showing two faces with prognathic jaws. One is distinguished by small half-spherical crests. Fine remains of smooth slip, the preservation of which depends on the burial conditions. This head obviously comes from a full body sculpture, or a bust or pipe sculpture. It was used for funerary purposes. This culture, contemporary with that of the Nok, was mainly active between the 5th century BC and the 5th century AD.
