A Belgian artist of Sardinian origin, Loredana Maccioni is developing a pictorial universe at the crossroads of abstraction, figuration and Pop Art. Her work is characterised by an instinctive approach to colour and gesture, in which faces gradually emerge from a network of signs, lines and chromatic superimpositions.
