Provenance: Former Guy Seghers collection (Belgium). Collected in Papua New-
Guinea between 1970 and 1980 during scientific missions linked to the Leopold III Biological Station on Laing Island.

Ceremonial ornament consisting of two imposing pig tusks mounted on a woven fibre structure
braided fibre structure embellished with shells. These ornaments were important markers of
