Eight-leaf folding screen in fruitwood and applications of coloured hardstones and mother-of-pearl, decorated with scenes of apprenticeship, scholars and disciples, on a lacquer background. H_230 cm W_55,5 cm, some accidents, no hinges, one panel is missing a low decoration, the hardstones are missing. Provenance: French private collection, inherited from an expatriate who lived in Vietnam between 1930 and 1950.
