QING DYNASTY, KANGXI PERIOD (1661 - 1722)
Bisque servant figure decorated with green family enamels, depicted standing, right hand on hip, left hand holding a gilt bronze palanquin decorated with porcelain flowers and supporting two small painted glass lanterns. He is wearing a tunic decorated with lotuses on a black background, yellow trousers with flowers and tall black boots. He has a round face with a laughing expression, lively eyes surmounted by eyebrows shaped into small swirls, and hair tied into two small buns at the sides of his head.
With a gilded bronze mounting at the base, later transformed into a lamp.
