Large gilded bronze statue of Palden Lhamo, seated on her mule, brandishing a khatvanga and a kapala. The dharmapala, with a wrathful expression, is adorned with skulls and snakes. She is accompanied by her two followers leading her mount, Makaramukha and Simhamukha. The eyes of the deity, the mule and the attendes are enhanced with silver and black stone. The whole rests on a wide, partially openwork lotiform base. The base is sealed and incised with a double vajra.
