Description
A pair of Chinese famille rose square-section vases. Each has two gilded lion-head handles and is decorated on one side with ‘antiquities’, on the reverse side with a pair of peacocks standing on rocks in a flower garden, and on the remaining two sides with a poetic inscription. 19th–20th century. H: 42 cm. One vase is in good condition; the other has chips. Both have a star-shaped hairline crack from the base. (UV-checked).
