Description
A carved Chinese celadon porcelain plate. The centre of the interior is carved with a trellis pattern beneath a band of peony scrolls in the well. The plate is covered entirely with a sea-green glaze, except for a wide unglazed ring around the base, which has taken on a burnt orange colour during firing. 17th century or later. Diameter: 32 cm. Restored. (UV-CHECKED).
