A large, rare Chinese wooden ‘figure’ sculpture. This is an intricate carving from tree root depicting a figure. The sculpture is carved from many small pieces of tree root, creatively utilising the natural twists and textures of the wood to form the figure. 19th/20th century. H: 62 cm. Good condition.
