Featuring a mihrab surrounded by botehs on a field with a bayadère design comprising three rows of bands and stripes inlaid with polychrome botehs. Main border in ivory with multicoloured star-shaped flowers. Included is a fine, antique RUG. Baluchistan. Turkmen. Late 19th–early 20th century. Prayer rug shape. Dimensions: 132 x 80 cm. Wool pile on a wool foundation. In fairly good overall condition. Features double mirhabs on a garnet background, decorated with rows of stylised diamond-shaped guhls. Expert: Frank KASSAPIAN.
