Description
Pierre-Jacques MEURICE (Acquitted in 1806)
Silver (950) sugar bowl with a circular base, partly decorated in the amati style with a wreath of flowers and encircled by a frieze of small waves, resting on four claw-foot legs. The body is carved with figures of vestal virgins and flanked by two lion-headed handles. The lid is engraved with a wreath of flowers and crowned with a bouquet. The interior is made of crystal.
