Manufacturer’s mark on the underside, signed by the designer and marked, numbered and dated ‘Collection V. Guillen Edition CHARLES JOURDAN’ 1966 Diameter 18.5 cm Minor wear to the decoration Accompanied by their box (dented) and a certificate Charles Jourdan is a company specialising in luxury footwear. These plates were produced in 1966 and presented to the company’s clients. Designed by J. Langlais, they are inspired by shoes from the collection of Mr Victor Guillen, a Parisian designer and pattern-maker, whose entire collection is now housed at the Shoe Museum in Romans.
