Set of four multi-lobed porcelain dinner plates, decorated with scenes from Molière’s plays, performed by children:
- *L’amour médecin*. Clitandre, Lisette. Clitandre: “Well then, Lisette, what do you think of my carriage?” Triangular mark S 1902.
- *Le Tartuffe*. Dorine, Valère. Valère offering his hand to Dorine. Triangular mark S 1903. Small chip on the reverse.
- *Les Fourberies de Scapin*. Zerbinette, Géronte. Géronte: “Why have you come here to laugh in my face?” Green mark S. 81.
- The School for Wives. Arnolphe, Agnès. Arnolphe: “Is following a suitor not a despicable act?” Triangular mark S 1903. Two small chips on the reverse.
