Description
PAIR OF COATS OF ARMS PLATES in silver, circular in shape. The rim is decorated with fillets. Hallmarks: Premier Coq 1st standard, Paris, 1798–1809, and silversmith’s mark: Jean-Pierre CHARPENAT (registered in 1801, previously admitted as a master silversmith in 1782).  The wings engraved with the combined coat of arms of Charles Boullet, known as Boullet de Varennes, and his wife, née Virginie de Bray (married in 1817), beneath a count’s crown.  Height: 2.8 cm - Diameter: 29.5 cm Total weight: 1,600 g. (Normal signs of wear and scratches; sold as is).
