Description
SEVEN SILVER TIMBALES Includes: - An ovoid-shaped timbale decorated with Art Deco motifs. The neck is engraved with the monogram: CA. Minerva hallmark, 2nd standard. Silversmith’s mark illegible.  Height: 8 cm. Weight: 75 g. - A pear-shaped goblet. The body is adorned with floral scrolls on a guilloché background and engraved with a monogram within a plain cartouche: SG.  Minerve hallmarks (1st title) and silversmith’s mark: Albert Deflon (registered in 1907). Height: 9 cm. Weight: 103 g. - a goblet on a pedestal. The fluted body is topped with a frieze of stylised flowers and foliage. Minerve hallmarks (1st standard). Silversmith’s mark illegible. Height: 7.8 cm. Weight: 70 g. - a pair of goblets on pedestals. The bodies are engraved with a flowering branch, and each is inscribed with ‘Ludovic’ and ‘Anaïs Gendreau’ in a label-shaped cartouche.  Minerve hallmarks, 1st standard. One goblet bears the silversmith’s hallmark: Henri Soufflot (stamped in 1884). Height: 7.5 cm. Total weight: 165 g.  - a flared-shaped goblet. The body is decorated with three friezes featuring neoclassical motifs on a guilloché background, and monogrammed ‘BG’ within a cartouche. Minerva 1st title hallmark. No silversmith’s hallmark. Height: 9 cm. Weight: 112 g. - a ‘pension’ goblet. The body is engraved with a stylised floral scroll and adorned with a dedicated cartouche.  Minerva hallmark (1st title) and silversmith’s hallmark: Eugène François Rion. Height: 8 cm. Weight: 58 g. (a few dents, normal wear and scratches; sold as is).
