OIL AND VINEGAR SET
in silver with rich Louis XVI-style decoration. The oval, scalloped base, with a border adorned with fillets and clasps, supports the lower section, which is decorated with garlands of laurel and features a medallion bearing a cipher. The rims of the containers are encircled by sheathed lion’s manes, ending in claws. The body, decorated with torches and ribbons, is topped by a knob adorned with putti in sheaths.
