ODIOT IN PARIS
A rare silver plate or dish for hot chestnuts, with a scalloped shape and a rim decorated with interlaced medallions. The bowl is covered by two chiselled pads designed to resemble two folded damask napkins. The top pad opens via a hinge.
Minerve hallmark, 1st standard, and silversmith’s mark.
The reverse is signed ‘ODIOT A PARIS’ and numbered 2486.
Height: 5 cm – Diameter: 27 cm.
Weight: 1,800 g.
