The handles are leaf-shaped. The lid has a border decorated with fillets and is engraved with the combined coats of arms of Louis Patas d’Illiers and his wife, née Marcelle Ouvré de Saint-Quentin (who married in 1912), beneath a marquis’s crown. Decorated with a naturalistic flower motif.
The silver lining is monogrammed with the same initials.
