Paris, Méquignon, undated (c. 1820–1830), 6 instalments in oblong quarto format in their original grey instalment covers; each comprising 6 loose-leaf lithographs and a leaflet ‘explaining the plates’. The set is therefore illustrated with 36 mounted lithographs on China paper executed by Meliand, Guyot, Faure, Guerard, etc… Extremely rare, with minor pinhead-sized foxing of no consequence; a fine, attractive copy; a rare set in this condition.
