Description
A small porcelain ring-bodied vase decorated with a cupid and a trophy in a rocaille gold cartouche against a cream background with gold lacework, the bronze neck featuring a finial of lanceolate leaves; the neck and pedestal in cloisonné enamel with a polychrome floral design on a sky-blue ground, highlighted by damascened floral bands; the base in onyx. Attributed to Paul Louchet (1854–1936), an ancestor of our consignor. Late 19th century. Height: 22 cm.
