HISTORICAL :
This stool is made without any metal fixings, from three identical moulded plywood elements assembled to form a stable, lightweight and versatile structure. It can be used as a seat, an occasional table or stacked to serve as a shelf, depending on use. Designed in 1961 for the publisher Tendo Mokko, it won the first design competition organised by the brand and was an immediate success. Its aesthetics and functionality quickly earned it a place in international museum collections, including MoMA in New York from 1967.
