Antoine Louis BARYE (Paris 1796–1875), after "Bellowing Stag" Model created in 1874 Bronze sculpture with a brown patina. Early edition cast by the Barbedienne foundry. Signed "Barye", foundry mark "F.Barbedienne fondeur" and gold "FB" stamp. Black marble base. 21 x 21 x 6.5 cm (sculpture) 31 x 26 x 13 cm (with base) A "Rutting stag" brown patinated bronze sculpture from a Barbedienne edition cast of the design created by Antoine Louis Barye in 1874. Signed "Barye", "F.Barbedienne fondeur" and "FB" gilded stamp.
