Jean MAYODON (Sèvres 1893–1967) Ceramic vase, ovoid in shape with a small, flared round neck and a wide circular foot, featuring a crackled decoration of four cartouches adorned with stylised deer, glazed in polychrome and gold. Signed with a monogram stamp in gold beneath the base. H: 16.5 cm (a small chip of enamel on the neck) An egg-shaped earthenware vase by Jean Mayodon, with a polychrome and gold crackled enamel decoration of four stylised deer medallions. Gold-enamelled artist’s monogram under the base.
