IMPORTANT The 'Sandwich' armchair won the MIAW Design Award 2024 in the Interior Equipment category. NOTE This armchair has been designed as a module that can be multiplied to become a chaise longue or a sofa. A graduate of the École d'Architecture et des Beaux-Arts in Marseille, Marine Peyre made her mark on the world of design in 2001 with her brand Cooked in Marseille. Her first collection in silicone, inspired by the popular and joyful energy of the beach, unveiled pieces that have become emblematic, such as the "Expres'soft" cup and the "Lampoule" luminous cube. Playful and innovative, these objects have crossed borders and won over prestigious venues in Paris, London, Barcelona (Miró Foundation) and New York (MOMA). Based in Paris since 2011, in 2017 she founded Marine Peyre Éditions, a company that embodies her singular approach to furniture: modular seating, made in France, combining comfort, freedom of use and bold creativity. Working with leading designers such as Sokoa, Woop Rugs, Edito Paris, Procédés Chenel International, Furniture For Good, Pantone Universe and Moissonnier, she has confirmed her role as a key designer, capable of combining high aesthetic standards with a contemporary vision. Marine Peyre's world is characterised by freshness, freedom and a sense of playfulness. At the crossroads of art, design and architecture, her work explores expressive, colourful forms, dares to use atypical materials and relies on modularity. She creates objects that do more than simply furnish space: they transform it, bring it to life and invite experimentation. This approach has been recognised three times by the French Design 100 by VIA prize (2018, 2022, 2024), which rewards the international influence of French design. In 2025, his 'Éclair au Chocolat' bench entered the collections of the Mobilier National, an institutional recognition that anchors his work in the heritage of contemporary design.
