GALLÉ WORKSHOPS (1904–1936) Shell-shaped vase on a recessed foot, circa 1904–1914. Made of multi-layered violet glass on a mauve, satin-finished background, with acid-etched wisteria decoration. Acid-etched signature ‘Gallé’. Formerly mounted as a lamp, with a hole in the base. H. 49 cm H. 19 5/16 in. (Some scuffs, a small chip on the lower part, soiling)
