KERSTAN Horst (1941–2005) – High-necked, wheel-thrown stoneware vase. Signed on the base, dated (19)81, numbered 1826 and bearing the Kerstan stamp, Kandern. H. 20 cm. Note: Horst Kerstan, a German ceramicist trained by Richard Bampi, had his studio in Kandern. He was greatly influenced by Asian techniques, particularly those of Japan.
