BORDET-BONIFAS Alice (1891–1980) – Blue-glazed earthenware bowl, signed ‘Lifas’ on the base. Diameter 17.5 cm. Note: Alice Sordet married Paul Bonifas in 1917; she initially worked alongside him, then, after the Second World War, Paul Bonifas handed over the buildings of his workshop to her, and she relaunched the business under the name Lifas.
