Description
KERAMOS (workshop) – Circular stoneware bowl, glazed black on the outside and with iron-rich effects on the inside. H.: 8.5 cm – D.: 28.5 cm. (Glaze crack at the base). Note: The KERAMOS workshop was founded in Sèvres by René Hénon (1924–2009). Based at 12 rue des Pommerets, the workshop was mainly active in the 1950s and 1960s, employing a small team of around six to eight people at the time. Its output included, in particular, lamp bases, plant pots, bowls, decorative objects and functional pieces in stoneware and glazed earthenware.
