PRIMAVERA – Large turquoise earthenware vase, ‘Ammonite’ model. Marked ‘Primavera’ on the base. Circa 1930. Height: 29 cm. (Minor glaze irregularities). Note: The Primavera workshop, founded in 1912, was the decorative arts department of the Printemps department store, dedicated to the creation and distribution of modern and affordable objects. The pieces were produced by various French manufacturers selected for their craftsmanship and the quality of their work, including Sainte-Radegonde, Longwy, Creil-et-Montereau, Cazaux and Boch Frères.
