CAPRON Roger (1922–2006) – Gemini. Ceramic cup on a foot, decorated in shades of yellow and black depicting the zodiac sign of Gemini. Signed on the back. Circa 1955. Diameter 15 cm. Note: After studying at the École des Arts décoratifs in Paris, Roger Capron moved to Vallauris in the immediate post-war period. There, he founded the Callis studio with Robert Picault and Jean Derval, before opening his own studio in 1948.
