CHAMBOST, Pol (1906–1983) – Set of two Medici-style vases, one of which has two handles. White earthenware with white glaze. Models nos. 1244 and 2089. Signed on the base ‘Poterie Pol Chambost’. Height: 20.5 and 19 cm respectively. A small chip in the glaze on the neck and a slight crack on model no. 1244. Note: These two models appear in photographs of Pol Chambost’s stand at the 28th Salon des Ateliers d’Art in January 1964, reproduced on page 154 of the reference work *Pol Chambost, sculpteur-céramiste, 1906–1983*.
