LES ARGONAUTES — Earthenware caquelon depicting a fish, with incised decoration beneath polychrome glaze, stamped. L. 13.5 cm. Note: The Les Argonautes workshop was founded in Vallauris in 1953 by Isabelle Ferlay and Frédérique Bourguet. Their production began with utilitarian pieces before moving towards decorative moulded or sculpted forms, characteristic of post-war Vallauris ceramics.
