Description
DUCAROY Michel (1925–2009) & LIGNE ROSET (Manufacturer) – Pair of ‘Togo’ armchairs in grey Alcantara. Original labels. H. 70 cm; W. 87 cm; D. 102 cm. (Shows signs of wear and tear, with some wear to the Alcantara.) Note: Designed in 1973 by Michel Ducaroy for Ligne Roset, the ‘Togo’ model was part of research into low-seated chairs made entirely of foam. Presented at the Salon des Arts Ménagers in Paris, it won the René-Gabriel Prize that same year.
