LE HENAFF Danuta (1922–2013) – Earthenware rooster-shaped vase with a floral design in shades of blue. The original label is present beneath the base. H. 27 cm. Note: Of Polish origin, Danuta Le Henaff left Poland in 1946, first for Paris and the École des Arts appliqués, then for Madagascar, where she met her husband Yann Le Henaff, who was a soldier stationed on the island. On her return to France, she set up her studio in Larmor-Plage. She was the subject of an exhibition in the summer of 2011 in Pornic.
