NOVARO Jean-Claude (1943–2014) – Orangeade set comprising a large jug and six hand-blown glass tumblers with purple highlights. Signed on the base. Height of jug: 28 cm; height of tumblers: 13 cm. Condition: not stated. Note: Jean-Claude Novaro, a master glassmaker, began his career at the Biot glassworks under the guidance of Éloi Monod before founding his own studio in 1977. He is known for his technical innovations, notably the incorporation of precious metals and phosphorescent glass. His works have been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including a major exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 1987.
