ONESTO Michele (20th–21st century) – Red glass sculpture depicting an elephant with its trunk raised. Signed ‘Michele Onesto’ on the base and marked ‘Murano’. H. 16 cm. Note: Michele Onesto is a master glassmaker from Murano, who has been working since the late 20th century at Vetreria Artistica Oball, a workshop founded in Murano in 1978 by Luigi Onesto. Together with his brother Fabio, he continues to produce decorative pieces in blown glass and sommerso glass.
