MARC UZAN
After discovering the art of modelling, Marc Uzan opened his first studio in Paris in 1977, before travelling to Florence to train, where he met Salvatore and Stefano Cipolla. His career led him to live and exhibit all over the world as well as in France, to which he returned in 1995, settling in the Sarthe region. Uzan explores a wide range of techniques to bring his pieces – which come in a variety of forms – to life. Trained in physics, he is above all passionate about research into glazes, which he renders in deep, vivid and nuanced colours. He also shares his knowledge through articles and books.
