Piet HEIN (1905–1996), Arne JACOBSEN (1902–1971) and Bruno MATHSSON (1907–1988) for Fritz HANSEN Super-Ellipse Table with an oval rosewood veneer top and chrome-plated metal base. 72 x 180 x 120 cm. (signs of wear and rust on the chrome) The Super-Ellipse table was created in 1968 following a collaboration between the mathematician and poet Piet Hein, the Swedish designer Bruno Mathsson and Arne Jacobsen.
