Émile GALLÉ (1846-1904) : An ovoid vase with a narrow neck in transparent bluish "clair-de-lune" and crackled glass. Engraved, painted and partially gilded decoration of an aquatic environment: plants, giant dytic insect, and fish of the perch family. Signed "E. Gallé à Nancy" in black ink under the vase. Period: 1878 - 1884. Height: 22.5 cm. Width: 11.5 cm. Glued neck.
