Petite baigneuse assise, model created around [1880], our proof numbered 10, from the edition of 12 copies (plus a number 0 for the museum) by the Musée Rodin
A sculpture.
Proof in bronze with a dark shaded brown patina.
Sand cast.
Post mortem edition made in 1973.
The base in black marble.
Some chips on the marble base.
Signed A. RODIN and N° 10 on the right side of the mound, stamped E. GODARD Fondr on the back of the mound and © by Musée RODIN 1973 on the left side of the mound.
Height of bronze alone: 14.6 cm
Total height: 16.3 cm

Private collection, Paris. Purchased from the Musée Rodin on 16 November 1973. The copy of the original invoice and the Rodin Museum certificate will be given to the buyer.
