Petite étude pour Adam - avec tête dite de Femme slave titrée parfois La Jeunesse, modèle créé avant [1890], our proof numbered 11, from the edition of 12 copies (plus one number 0 for the museum) by the Musée Rodin
Sculpture.
Proof in bronze with a dark brown patina.
Post mortem edition made in 1972.
The base in black marble.
Signed A. RODIN and N° 11 on the back of the support, stamped E. GODARD Fondr on the back towards the base and © by Musée RODIN 1972 on the mound.
Height of bronze alone: 25.2 cm
Total height: 27.8 cm
Provenance :
Private collection, Paris. Purchased from the Musée Rodin on 5 July 1972. The copy of the original invoice and the Rodin Museum certificate will be given to the buyer.
