Jean de LESPINASSE (1896–1979) Jug with handle, bottle with handle and soup tureen, c. 1960 A set of glazed ceramics featuring polychrome decoration and incised designs on a brown-ochre background, comprising archaic-style geometric forms; the soup tureen features a high-relief decoration. Each piece is signed on the base; the soup tureen is marked ‘Vallauris’. The jug is numbered 44, the bottle 26 and the soup tureen 2 in enamel on the base.
