Description
VIETNAM, Bien Hôa school, 20th century Enamelled stoneware jar Egg-shaped, with polychrome decoration of a frieze of dancers on the body. A stamped cooperative mark under the base. Height : 30 cm Diameter: 22 cm Provenance: Private Parisian collection assembled by Mr and Mrs X, Paymaster General at the French Consulate General in Saigon in the 1960s. Works acquired in Vietnam, some directly from artists who were friends of the family. The collection has remained in the family to this day.
