Michelle Esday belonged to the Parisian literary milieu of the post-war period. A regular contributor to magazines such as Osmose and La Revue palladienne, she published several novels in the early 1950s, including Délivrez-nous du bien and La peur du soleil, and was part of a milieu where writers, critics and artists came together.
Provenance: Jean-Yves Mock (1928-2021).
Jean-Yves Mock was an art critic, curator, author and collector who worked at the Hanover Gallery in London from 1956 to 1973 before becoming curator at Beaubourg.
