‘Untitled’, circa 1975, a unique piece designed and crafted specifically for the home of Mr and Mrs X (Puy-de-Dôme)
An exceptional free-form fireplace comprising four elements: a tripod base, a pear-shaped firebox and two truncated conical flues.
Ceramic piece (crucible clay) glazed in powder green.
Complete with steel clamping bands covering the joints of the flues and internal metal components designed to ensure the fireplace’s draught.

A filled crack at the rear of the shorter flue, a few small chips and areas of flaking enamel at the base of the same flue, a hairline crack around the firebox, some surface imperfections in the enamel around the firebox, minor firing defects, scattered imperfections and/or chips in the glaze.
