* LE CORBUSIER (1887–1965), PIERRE JEANNERET (1896–1967) AND CHARLOTTE PERRIAND (1903–1999) – DESIGNERS; CASSINA – MANUFACTURER ‘LC4’ model created around [1928] Reclining chaise longue. The base is in black lacquered metal; the seat features a chrome-plated tubular metal frame supporting a cushion upholstered in black leather. Complete with its headrest, also upholstered in black leather. Produced in the 1990s–2000s. Marked with the CASSINA Le Corbusier LC4 publisher’s stamp and numbered 79542 on the tubular metal, and with the CASSINA publisher’s stamp and Le Corbusier’s facsimile signature on the base.
