‘606 Barrel’ – a model created in [1937] based on an initial design from [1904], with Cassina’s production launched in [1986]
A pair of armchairs.
The semi-circular frames are stained a dark colour.
The solid, upturned backrests extend down to the legs via a series of slats at their upper section.
The circular seat cushions are upholstered in fresh butter-coloured leather.
Each chair bears, beneath the seat, the manufacturer’s and designer’s marks (in the form of a signature) and the numbers 28933 for one and 28929 for the other.
