Jean BESNARD (1889–1958). Large glazed ceramic bottle-shaped vase. Beautiful contrasting glazes ranging from midnight blue to creamy white. The neck is worn away due to the fitting of a clamping ring used to attach it to a lamp base. The base has been clumsily pierced where the monogram ‘JB’ is located, though part of it remains visible. Dated 1925. H=35.5 cm and max. diameter=22 cm
